Meet Chef Greg
Long before people knew him from Facebook Live and his bilingual cooking videos, Gregorio “Chef Greg” Diaz was cooking the food of his Puerto Rican heritage. He previously owned two small restaurants and a catering business in Puerto Rico, but his greatest impact may be the community he and his wife, Nicole, have built through Sabor With Love.
When Chef Greg makes pasteles, authentic texture matters. He uses Grandma Ann’s Electric Grater to prepare green bananas, yautía, yuca, calabaza and plantains efficiently while preserving the grated texture traditional masa requires.

Chef Greg began sharing recipes after hearing from Latinos who wanted to prepare the foods they grew up with but struggled to learn from Spanish-speaking parents and grandparents.
